This is Pooh Mattress Cover by Disney. I just realized that all these brand name cartoon furnishings are probably knock-off Disney stuffs. Oh well, it's the thought that counts anyway. Reads one of the squares:

"Pooh is the best kind of friend
loyal. kind and brave." [punctuation as-is]

My mattress also serves as a beautiful checkerboard. :)

Feet

This is Feet by My Mom, God, or evolution. There's an unruly patch of tan on the left one. Do you like them? Hooray, I do too. There are lots of people out there, mind you, who have criteria for right sorts of feet, notions of how they should make it in the real world. Hooray for pedicures! (shall get one for my 37th birthday)

This is Plastic-wrapped Plush Pooh by Disney. My godaunt in Hong Kong mailed it to my sister. It probably cost a lot, even for HK$, but thank you my dear godaunt. So no one bothered to unwrap poor Pooh, and you know what's gonna happen? Karma exists; he will pooh-pooh you for really snubbing the road not taken.

This is Mail Holder by Snoopy. It's a neglected heirloom--an object that everyone in the family knows is there but doesn't get more than a nano-glance. All of us are guilty, but we know the holder is too cheery to be bitter. I hate Sunpass and highway tolls.

This is Napkins by Scotties. Look at that impressionistic design! (Sorry for using the incorrect art term, for you persnickety artsy fartsies >;P) And the newspaper underneath! It all matches. But the napkins needn't be so mopey; their stacked shape miraculously forms a mini futon.

These are Synthetic Brushes by Palmer. I like the tasteless colors. Almost three dollars at Wal-Mart--not bad eh? I'll be counting on these for at least the next ten years (well I only paint once or twice a year).
